Absolutely insane spot! This is one of only 14 produced 993 Turbo Cabriolets - and it is the number 1 of them. The 993 Turbo Cab, unlike the Coupé, is still featuring the 964 Turbo's engine, the 3.6l single-turbo one. They are also RWD instead of AWD. All of them were built by Porsche Exclusive and were are made pretty much uniquely. The 993 Turbo Cabriolet was roughly 300.000€ when purchased new, almost twice what you would have to pay for the Coupé that launched one year later. The 993 Turbo Cabriolet isn't what modern Turbo Cabriolets are to their Coupé counterparts - it's more like a unique 993, sporting a turbo-engine; rathern than just the topless 993 Turbo. This particular one is #1 (they're not numbered, but this has the lowest vin), finished in a stunning Iris Blue Metallic. With all due respect, it is also probably the only authentic one - at least two of the ones on this side are "suspicious".

Stunning find! This should've been the SOTD indeed. So incredibly rare and therefore valuable. Epic to see this on public roads.

Excellent narrative for this iconic Porsche capture. For me since I am a product of the 1980's this body style will always be the first image that I envision a Porsche to be. That huge whale tail is just awesome. @LuxurySpottings
