I found this very well-specced DB11 Volante parked on Tryon St in uptown a few weeks ago. One of only two Volante models I've seen in the wild so far.

@ NCspotter Hi Nick, I really hope that your Thanksgiving was a memorable one, brother? How does your dad like his new car? Did you guys stay in Florida for awhile or immediately head back home? Anyways great catch on this black beauty. The red top really adds that special touch.

@Horse-Power Thanksgiving here was great as always, hope you had a great Turkey Day as well. My dad seems to be pretty happy with the Allroad, it's quiet and is pretty much loaded (with the strange exception of paddle shifters), although he actually hasn't driven it a lot yet lol since we got it back to NC. It is a fantastic Interstate car due to the gearing, which keeps the engine at very low speeds even at close to 100mph, but a little less pleasant to drive around the city due to the indecisiveness from the transmission coupled with a lack of power. I'm pretty confident that my GTI would beat it in a drag race lol. And speaking of that, I did get the GTI back on the road, thanks in no small part to my dad's help, and it now has a single mass flywheel (instead of a stock dual mass, which had failed) as well as a Stage 1 clutch and pressure plate. It runs much smoother now that it doesn't have an out-of-balance flywheel creating a ton of vibration, but the pressure plate is quite stiff which unfortunately means that the clutch is extremely heavy. It's softened a little bit, as I've put about 250 miles on it since we got it running, but is still loads heavier than the stock one which was quite light. I guess I'll see how long I can put up with a heavy clutch given how bad traffic is here now.
