I spotted this 570S at the Southpark Mall last Saturday evening after work. These are crazy rare here in NC, and I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw it. Not the best pics due to lighting and traffic, but the best I could do.

@OPspotters thanks, there weren't a whole lot of cars I was willing to battle through holiday mall traffic for, but this was definitely one of them.

Same here, but now it is tough with the weather so cold, it Is between 5 and 20 F degrees here, so not a lot of stuff out there.

@NCspotter. Hi Nick, a big congrats on this McLaren catch buddy! I do like the 570S it was so much faster on track than the MP4-12C. I asked the guys at Xtreme Xperience why they did not keep one in their inventory and I was told that the car just like the MP4's always experienced mechanical issues. I hope I can get behind the wheel of a 720S sometime in the near future. Anyways Brother you have had an excellent spotting year even though your time was very limited because of school, and work responsibilities. I hope 2018 allows you more time to hit the streets! Especially in new locations say like Atlanta. Talk with you soon.

@Horse-Power thanks a ton man! This is only my fourth McLaren post on here, which should give you a reference point of how rare any McLaren sighting is here. That's strange to hear that Xtreme Xperience had so many issues with their McLarens. Do the engines not get warmed up properly prior to driving? I'd have to say that 2017 was my best spotting year to date, and I can't wait to see what 2018 has in store! I promise that one of these days I will make it down to Atlanta haha. @NCspotter. Hi Nick. Xtreme has been doing this for around 5 years and they employ all professional individuals from mechanics to driving instructors so their operation is just top notch in every department. I'm sure McLaren has finally come to grips with their cars, after all it had to be a very hard adjustment on becoming a over night car company creating a mass produced car for the world. Anyways buddy I finally made it out today in attempt to spot my last car for 2017. I actually spotted two. A Huracan, and a Cali T being the last official spot of the year. @Horse-Power maybe they've just had bad luck with McLarens and have ended up with a couple of lemons. I hope they sort out whatever issues they're having so that you get a chance to drive a 720S. I will keep my eyes out for anything you post. I believe my last sighting of 2017 was a black '07-'11 Bentley Continental GT Speed in uptown Charlotte, which I grabbed one pic of as it drove past. I enjoyed talking with you all of last year and will be looking forward to the conversations we have this year. Have a Happy New Year, and I'll talk with you later.

@NCspotter. Hi Nick. I will never say never, but I was told by a reliable source that another McLaren was not an option. I will have to get my hands on one for a street drive. Not the best way to judge its true capabilities but it will allow me a chance to feel the acceleration, and the braking. My last two spots of 2017 I did not get any pics of. Thank God I was able to get a nice selection of cars on my last two Florida visits. Anyways Brother I will be looking out for your next post. Talk with you soon , and try to keep warm lol.

@Horse-Power well that's a shame. I hope they reconsider. I've been sick (again) so I haven't felt like posting anything, but I'll post an old spot of one of my all-time favorite cars on here tonight. I stumbled upon the pics of it while I was cleaning off an old computer. My following post (hopefully later this week) will be pretty epic. Not something you haven't spotted yet, but a model that is still just hitting the streets. Anyway I'm trying to stay warm up here in Raleigh. I think we've gone about 50 straight hours with temps at or below freezing, although it looks like it will warm up a bit next week. Haven't had a chance to go out yet this year due to sickness, but I can't wait to get my first spot of 2018! Take care and I'll talk with you later.

@Horse-Power it is really a shame how far ES has fallen. They did change around some of the moderating duties and restructured the upload process, but sadly I think the site owners have mostly lost interest otherwise. It used to be a great site, and is still good for when you only manage to get one or two good pics of a nice car, but it's nowhere close to what it was when I first joined. Anyway, I'm mostly feeling better, and earlier today I finally made it out of the house for the first time in a week. Hopefully I will get something good posted up tomorrow. Great spot on yet another Performante, and I'll talk with you later.
