What a spectacular-looking Lotus! I found this Evora in the CineBistro parking lot as I was leaving Whole Foods a couple weeks ago. The Evora was already one of my favorite cars, but the new Evora 400 has taken over as my favorite car currently on sale. Hopefully I'll catch sight of one soon!

@NCspotter, Hi Nick I agree that the Evora 400 is just amazing looking car. i hope you get the chance to spot one before the summer ends. This Evora is a car like we talked about in the past is a very cool car to drive. Well done on this capture buddy.

@Horse-Power I don't know if you've seen any videos on the Evora 400, but it sounds so absolutely ridiculously amazing. In my opinion it is the best-sounding car currently on the market, and there are no shortage of great-sounding cars out there. If you've spotted any Evora 400s around, I'd love to see some pics because I can't seem to spot any! Thanks as always for your comments, it definitely keeps me motivated to keep posting on here when a car spotting legend like yourself checks out other people's uploads.

@NCspotter, Hi Nick I have spotted a yellow one but was in no position to get any pics. If I do get one in the near future I will let you know. I am hoping that you get the pleasure to post one before I do. I will need to watch a video to hear her exhaust.
Here is a story that I have never shared before on my very first spot when I was 9 years old. I was on the school bus on my way home when I spotted a Countach. The car was parked in front of a small time paint shop along with normal cars. When I arrived home I told my Dad who immediately stated it was probably a kit car. But like a true car Dad he drove me over to the building. When he started looking it over he smiled and said it was the real deal.
The owner of the paint shop walked out and we started talking with him. He related it was the exact car that was in the movie The Cannonball Run. He said he was friends with Ron Rice the owner of the car, and Hawaiian Tropics. He said that he had the privilege to work on the car.
My Dad, and I was invited to sit in the car so after that I was a spotter for life lol.

@NCspotter. Hey Nick I did spot a green 400 today the pics turned out pretty good. You were right the exhaust sounds awesome. The car was tagged with Wisconsin plates. I will send you a couple pics on Sunday. Talk with you soon buddy.

Your passion for the 400 is most definitely worthy! I cannot wait for you to get one soon, because I just know that your passion will extend into each shot. I hope your weekend treated you well? @Horse-Power one of the first car spotting memories I have is when my dad and I were out running some errands on a weekend, and saw a red Lotus Elise driving around. It must have been when I was 10 or so, because the Elise definitely hadn't been out for terribly long in the U.S. My dad was surprised to see a Lotus in that part of Raleigh, and said "hey Nick, check that out! Bet you've never seen a Lotus before, huh?" I didn't recall seeing any others before then, but we saw it again later that day, and ever since then I've kind of had a soft spot for Lotus. When Lotus released the original Evora here several years back, I loved the look, but it was a little down on power and practicality. The 400 seems to be a massive step up for the company though, and I hope is the model that helps turn Lotus's fortunes. I'm glad to hear Atlanta is back to its old ways; I've been in Charlotte for the past week and haven't seen anything worth mentioning. I was really surprised because I thought the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow this past week would bring some nice cars from out of town, but I haven't seen any out of the ordinary exotics. I did take a day trip with my mom, brother, and one of my cousins to the mountains though, and I saw an F12 on the way there. Sadly I missed getting any pics because it went by in the other direction on the interstate. Anyway, I see that you've posted a really cool German car combo so I'll go check that out, and I'll talk with you later!

@NCspotter, Hi Nick thanks for sharing that spotting story buddy. I think Lotus can really thrive if they had a partner like Volkswagen. Lamborghini really has been transformed into a first rate company because of their guidance. I always look forward to seeing all of your posts buddy have a great week, and I will talk with you soon.

@Horse-Power the company that is trying to buy Lotus recently bought Volvo, and it has done a fantastic job turning Volvo around, so hopefully it will supply the funds needed for Lotus to gain traction again. I think one of Lotus's biggest issues is a lack of brand recognition, as the Evora 400 is an unbelievable car but nobody knows what it is or that it is even available for purchase. I will hopefully have something new up in the next day or so and will talk with you later.

@NCspotter, Hi Nick several years ago I talked with a Ferrari Enzo owner who said the one car he loved to drive just for the sure enjoyment either for a mountain drive or any type of track event was his Lotus Exige. So that says a lot for the product. You know the best thing that the new owners of Lotus should do is attend Car Weeks. This is the largest gathering of exotic cars in North America, and it attracts not only the greatest car names but their high profile owners. Konenigsegg , Pagani, Bugatti, and every other mega car company schedules owner gatherings drives leading to the event every year. Lotus should bring their cars to this world known event. Company's like Porsche, Ferrari, and Mclaren bring cars for test drives. Talk with you soon buddy.
