Those who have followed me on other car spotting sites will probably recognize this spotting. I was at Whole Foods with my mom several years ago when I noticed this Elise in the parking lot. The geese just happened to be in the parking lot at the same time, and I after all these years, the first pic is still one of my all-time favorite pictures I've ever taken. I did get a chance to speak with the couple who owned the car, and they mentioned to me that they also owned a black 997 GT2. I did see it driving around a couple times, but sadly I was never able to get on camera. I don't believe they still live in the area, as I haven't seen this or the GT2 in four or five years.

@OPspotters thanks man! It's one of my highest-rated pics on ES of all time, so I figure anyone from that site has probably seen it.
First pic is great indeed! Nice spot and combo with the M3 Cabrio and older Audi.
@NCspotter That's nice, cool youngtimer, we rarely see those kind of Audis here in Europe. The last old Audi I've seen lately is the RS2 Avant.

@SpecialAutomobiles they're insanely rare here as well. I only recall seeing maybe five other Audis of the same vintage while driving around, as Audi didn't sell very many cars here until the 2000s. Never seen an RS2 here in the States!

@NCspotter. Hi Nick. I can remember when you first posted this car on ES. Honestly It seems like just yesterday. All I can say is that first shot is still amazing as it was when you first introduced it to the car spotting world.

@Horse-Power I was very fortunate to find the photos. They had been sitting on an old computer that we were getting ready to donate to an electronic recycling store in Charlotte, and I was trying to clean off all personal documents and whatnot when I stumbled upon some of my old car spottings. I guess I somehow forgot to copy them over to my current computer. I'm just happy I didn't ruin these pics during some of my early editing attempts....some other old spots of mine weren't as lucky.
