My mom and I were driving over to Crossroads Plaza this past weekend when I stumbled upon this Huracan at the intersection of Tryon Rd and Walnut St. Amazingly, the driver happened to be in the turn lane to go towards Crossroads and got a green light right after I had to stop for a red light, which gave me just enough time to dig my camera out and get a couple of pics of it driving through the intersection. I was then able to catch up with it on Walnut St right near Crossroads Plaza. This is the first and only Huracan I have ever seen in person in the Triangle.

Account aanmakenAwesome find and capture. It looks pretty good in white I think. I'm still pissed because two Saturdays ago I saw an orange one parked at the mall. I was ready to get pictures but security was patrolling and they like to profile you for taking pictures even though they can't really do anything. When the security car finally disappeared, a black S7 pulled up behind the Huracan and the driver got out and hopped in. I only managed to get two bad pictures before he sped off loudly.
Uh huh, it's easy to say that when you've seen many. My first actual spot of an Aventador outside of a car show was just three months ago ffs, lmao...

@pdk97_photography dang, that sucks!! I've had some security guards kind of eye me while I was taking pics, but usually I think they're just making sure I don't touch the car. There was a guy in Cary who had two white Gallardo LP560s (one Coupe, one Spider) so I wonder if he upgraded?

@NCspotter, Hi Nick I still get really excited when I spot a Huracan . As you know I have seen 85 cars in all body styles. Awesome catch buddy I know that your area does not have a ton of these cars driving around so this spot is a very important one! What makes this that much more special is that you were able to get rolling pics of this good looking bull.

@Horse-Power thanks, but HOLY MOLY, 85 Huracans?! This is only the fourth one I've seen! (Except for some in the goldRush Rally a couple years ago). There are actually a pretty good number of these in NC, but they're just really hard to spot, but I know I'll only spot more of these as time continues to march on!

@NCspotter, Hi Nick we always talked about how the older models are the true exotic spots because the production was so very low. Especially cars like the Countach, and the BB512 Boxer. The funny thing is that yes spotting 85 Huracans is considerable but I have spotted just as many of the more expensive Aventador I have posted 81 cars. I hope you get the chance to spot in Miami, or Atlanta soon buddy! Great results from you as always btw.

@Horse-Power unfortunately the classic exotics have virtually disappeared from North Carolina. The last classic Lambo I spotted was a Countach about a year and a half ago, and the last classic Ferrari (or at least, last pre-360-era Ferrari) I spotted was a 328 GTS almost two years ago. There are a lot of them around in NC though. I believe that I have seen more Aventadors than I have Huracans, and I know there are still many more Aventadors around Charlotte that I need to spot including a matte yellow SV. I am not sure that an Atlanta trip will work out for this year, but I definitely want to make that happen as soon as possible.
