My 10,000th star spot! This one was in the planning for a long time, when we went on holiday to Canada and the US in September last year, the town of Jasper ( my name) was in the scheduled route however massive forest fires changed that plan. Major parts of the town were totally burned down including the hotel we were gonna stay. So plans changed and we rerouted the tour. I still wanted to visit the one town that bears my name though and i also wanted to catch a spot whilst there. So we made the 4 hour one way drive from Banff over the ice field parkway to Jasper. An amazing road to drive only to end up in the utter devistation left behind by the forest fires, burnt trees as far as you can see and entire blocks of houses decimated in the town itself. After about 20 minutes of searching i came across this Jeep which luckily survived the fires! These 10,000 star spots took me 13 years to accumulate, lets hope i can make it to 20,000 at some point in the future!

Bizar gek! Indrukwekkend verhaal erbij, maakt de spot helemaal af. Gefeliciteerd met de 10,000 sterspots, hele passende gevonden om het mee te vieren in dit dorp.

Wat vet! En op een spotter na ook alleen maar spotjes van een vrij grote groep Nederlanders in dat dorpje.
