Spotted this beautiful Emira on my street just as it was driving of! The owners stopped for me and where very kind! They picked up this beautiful lotus yesterday from Norfolk and had a factory and also own a Lotus Esprit S2! They also revved the 3.5l V6 AMG engine for me. What a car,I also saw my first Lotus Eletre R on test drive in Liverpool but couldn't get any photos,my god,it is ugly,I'd rather have an urus! It also breaks every lotus principle which Colin Chapman set! Small and light sports car: weighs over 2 tonnes and is an SUV. Not powerful with a small engine: has a big electric battery and produces 900hp. Cheap: it's very expensive. Racing ability: it's a family car. Not very fast but good at handling:it's extremely fast but to big for being agile. Looking good: not at all!!!!

@JJMad Tbh, I think a sports sedan would work better for Lotus than an SUV.

@Hyenaboy just sticking to old principles would help like also not selling a Mustang as a V4 or even as an electric SUV,a muscle car has a V8! That's how you ruin car culture

Amazing spot! What a spec as well! I managed to see one of these in Brighton, but I only got on photo of the rear.

@Hyenaboy yes,they did,but they were different to how they're made today and they where unique.
