Original? If so, it's worth fortune! One was sold for over 22 million bucks. Only five were built. It should be the spot of the month, if only it's genuine...

[@HAWK] I know! It’s one of the most expensive cars in the world if it is real! But I’m not sure because like you’ve said there are only 5 of these made. Sow I hope it is real!

Originally all 5 were painted green, with white circles for racing numbers, I guess. But it's possible that the owner repainted it. Old, british plates seem legit (after typing in google it shows other, genuine DBR1 pics) but it also could be just a stylish detail. I regret not being there, I would take a lot of detail and interior shots...
Anyway, I'm really curious of authenticity of this one, because if it's a replica, I would vote on my spot for SOTM but in case it's a true DBR1, I would have to admit I have no chance.

Nice spot, I live in St Tropez but have never seen this car!
It is actually a replica, a quality one, but a replica nevertheless built by AS Motorsport. Car's designation is ASM R1 and was first registered in December 2017. http://www.asmotorsport.co.uk/
